Inclusion- but at what cost?
Gahhhhh! You guys are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE Lisa!
Lisa and I discussed :
+the importance of open and honest communication, navigating social discourse with respect
+ our experiences with cultural differences, perceptions, & the challenges of addressing personal preferences & needs.
+ the significance of emotional intelligence, effective communication, & the potential for positive change if more people possessed these skills.
Such a good convo- and we definitely held back a bit, so this wasn't hours long, but I'm sure we will chat again in the near future.
As always, you know I love hearing from you in my DM's - chat soon.

Lisa Szabon-Smith is a Graphic Designer, retired national team bobsleigh pilot, host of the podcast “Fear|Less Changemakers”, as well as advocacy coach for a brighter future for generations to come.
Lisa is unafraid to speak up when there’s something that doesn’t feel right/make sense and is does not hold back when it comes to taking on new challenges because the process is always worth it - regardless of the results.
As a graphic designer Lisa sees connections many don't, can identify marketing plots before they are revealed, and firmly believes that businesses (both large and small) can speak to a topic of socioeconomic need without the risk of breaking their brand. It takes creativity, eloquent copywriting and a solid understanding of who you are and what you’re representing.
